Richard Orlinski

Richard Orlinski is a French artist born in Paris in 1966. His sculptures are inspired by the « Born Wild » concept and are a reflection of a profound contemplation on animal instincts and human nature. His style is modern and never gives way to trash, extravagance or passing trends.

In a matter of a few years he has become one of the most popular French artists. Orlinski is ranked 121st on the world ranking of auctions distributed by Artprice. Since 2011, he has been ranked in the Top 10 of the best selling French artists in the world by Artprice; one of his works was awarded €680,000.

His leitmotiv is to make art accessible to the greatest number of people possible. While his work is exhibited in more than 90 galleries across the globe, he doesn’t hesitate to break codes by exposing for free and in the open-air in places such as the French Alps or cities like Paris or Cannes. He also enjoys displaying his work in atypical places and meeting with his fans.

Curious by nature and eager to express his creativity through other disciplines he also has a passion for music, cinema and theater. His electro-pop singles have been on top of the charts in France as well as abroad.

His autobiography has just been published by the number one French publishing company Michel Lafon. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of Disneyland Paris, the artist made an exclusive piece representing Mickey as the Sorcerer’s apprentice.

Art collectors around the world are fighting over the sculptures of Richard Orlinski. Many celebrities and businesspersons possess his sculptures: Sharon Stone, Paul McCartney, Harrison Ford, Meryl Streep, Andy Garcia, Richard Branson, David Guetta, Tony Parker and Omar Sy, among others. Orlinski lives and works in Paris, France.
